Peter Lindhout graduated cum laude in 1987 from Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam and in 2011 from the Institute for Information Law at the University of Amsterdam. Among other things, he worked as a visual artist, animation producer, lawyer at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, film consultant at the Netherlands Film Fund and as interim and policy director at the Holland Animation Film Festival and the Kaboom Animation Festival.
