Matteo Petecca is an italian screenwriter. He attended the National Film School in Rome (Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia), writing screenplays for different shorts, like "Roman Nights" ("Notte Romana"), which premiered at 2021 Venice Film Festival, and "A Conspiracy Man" ("Il Barbiere Complottista"), winner of the first prize at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, La Cinef. Based on this short movie, he wrote the screenplay for the feature film "Il Complottista" (2025).
