Mariia-Kristina Klimt is an animator, director and stop-motion enthusiast. She is also a student at UMPRUM where she’s spending hours in a stop-motion workshop, experimenting with materials and their possibilities. In the long term, she has a deep interest in anthropology, particularly in death studies. These themes strongly influence her artistic practice. She is drawn to creating the weird and uncanny world, exploring spaces on the border between life and death.
