Jonatan Schwenk is a German director whose animated short films with hybrid animation techniques have gained widespread recognition at major international festivals. His graduation film ZOON (2022) premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, later appearing in more than 150 festivals and receiving numerous awards, notably in Ottawa, Hiroshima, and Stuttgart. Schwenk's film SOG (2017) garnered approximately 40 awards and mentions, including the coveted Cristal for a Graduation Film at Annecy.
