Gwenola Heck is an experimental animation director using techniques that gravitate around 2D animation and stop motion. Loving haptic crafts she also works in the field of production design. In 2025 she graduated from the Animationsinstitut of Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Her graduation shortfilm "Gaïa" has been shown at festivals such as Tampere Film Festival, ITFS, Animation Dingle, INTERFILM, Tofuzi, Abidjan. "Melatonin" is her debut after graduation.
