Éva Katinka Bognár is a director and illustrator from Budapest.
She is currently the head of the animation MA programme at MOME. Her short film Hugo Bumfeldt won awards including the Prize of the Children's Jury at the 62nd Oberhausen International Short Film Festival, and the Animated Short Jury Award at Austin Film Festival. She also has been illustrating children’s literature since 2016. Two of her books, Ludmilla megoldja and A boszorkánycica were included on the Institute of Hungarian Children’s Literature’s TOP50 list. Currently, she is working as an art director on Gelley Bálint's Door to Othertown animated series, and continues developing animation and illustration projects as a freelance artist.
