Eluned Zoe Aiano is a British filmmaker, video editor and translator with a background in Visual Anthropology. Her undergraduate degree was in Slavonic Studies, and as such her work generally focuses on Central and Eastern Europe. Specifically, it often addresses topics such as archetypes of womanhood and the importance of storytelling in daily life.
She is one of the founder members of the “Wild Pear’’ arts organisation based in Serbia, with whom she is currently working on her first feature documentary, “Flotacija”. Zoe has been selected for the Wapping Project art residency in Berlin and the Meduse art residency in Quebec. She is and alumna of BerlinaleTalents and IDFA Project Space; she also writes about film and is a regular contributor to the East European Film Bulletin.
