Ella Mezule

Ella Mežule is a director and illustrator working as an independent creative director in both animation and visual art. Her style is characterised by a multi-layered message and painterly language rich in metaphors, which the artist has developed over the course of more than ten years of holding personal exhibitions and taking part in group exhibitions.Having received several recognitions and awards as an artist, since 2022, Ella has been working on her debut animated short, The Nature of Tide.
