Barbora graduated from Film and Audiovisual Culture Studies and English Language and Literature at Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic.
While studying, she worked for several film festivals including Summer Film School or Mezipatra Queer Film Festival. Directly after her graduation in 2015, she joined the team of Czech Film Center. Barbora takes care of the promotion of Czech feature films abroad and presentation of Czech cinema at film markets in Berlin and Cannes, consults festival strategies for upcoming feature films and maintains the database of upcoming films as well as public database of finished Czech films and the international film festivals guide available to Czech film professionals.
