Áron Gauder is a Hungarian film director and screenwriter. He graduated from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest and later studied at the Universität der Künste Berlin. His debut feature film, The District!, won the Cristal Award at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, establishing him as a distinctive voice in international animation. His second feature, Four Souls of Coyote, was Hungary’s official Oscar entry in 2023 and received the Jury Award at Annecy International Animation Film Festival. In addition to his filmmaking work, he directs documentaries and is an Associate Professor at the Metropolitan University in Budapest.
