Anita Doron is a Canadian-Hungarian writer-director and occasional shepherd. Her films have screened at TIFF, SXSW, and the International Film Festival Rotterdam. She wrote and directed The Lesser Blessed, earning a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay, and penned the Oscar- and Golden Globe-nominated The Breadwinner, for which she won a Canadian Screen Award along with an Annie Award and Humanitas Prize nomination. She is a Senior TED Fellow and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
