Ana Markozashvili

Born in 1991 in Tbilisi, Georgia, Ana graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Free University of Tbilisi to build a successful 6-year career in Marketing. In 2017, she decided to fully switch her profession to pursue her passion for 2D animation and started collaborating with Studio ANIMATORY as a freelancer on a variety of commissioned and creative projects – as an animator, illustrator, storyboard artist and eventually as an art director. She won “Annecy-Georgia Workshop” in 2021. Starting from October 2022, Ana is an Art Director on one of the first Georgian 2D animated series “Another Level Odyssey” funded by the U.S. Embassy in Georgia. She is currently working on her debut animated short film “SHIO”, a 7-minute 2D animated film exploring the struggles of maladaptive daydreaming.
