Tota Alves

Tota is almost 33 years old and still doesn't know how to write bios. Everytime somebody asks her for a bio she struggles with writing about herself on the third-person. Is she the only one who finds it weird? But she is not afraid of challenges. Tota grew up in a suburb of Oporto and now lives in Lisbon. She studied History but didn't know what to do afterwards. She spent a few years jumping around jobs, from cook to copywriter, before realising what she really likes to do: writing stories. Since then, she took a scriptwriting course for TV and cinema and started to work in the industry straight away. Tota wrote and directed two mini-series for RTP (Portuguese national TV) and is the scriptwriter of two original series that are now being produced.
