Alba Meijide is an Engineer in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Manchester, where she completed both her undergraduate and master's degree in AI. Her experience covers consultancy and AI project management in sectors such as healthcare, law, audiovisual media, tourism and heritage management among others, collaborating with companies and organizations at a national and international level. She has a strong focus on the audiovisual industry, working in advising for the implementation of AI in recognized companies in the sector responsible for projects such as The Snow Society, Secret Level and Game of Thrones among others. Her current projects include her participation in the creation of the Code of Best Practices for General Purpose AI systems, as an active member of the working teams of the European AI Office. In addition, she curated the exhibition AI: More than Human in A Coruña, an unprecedented international exhibition created by the Barbican Centre in London that explores the relationship between humans and AI. She has led innovative projects in computer vision, machine learning and deep learning, driving automation and the strategic impact of AI in different industries
