Join the first IP-Thlone Workshop on IP Management in Animation – Anima Mundi

The ANIMA MUNDI project, in partnership with CEE Animation and Sant’Anna University, Pisa, is organizing an intensive 1.5-day brainstorming meeting on Intellectual Property (IP) management in animation.

Taking place from 29 to 30 April 2026, alongside the renowned Far East Film Festival in Udine, Italy, this exclusive event will bring together approximately 15 participants and lecturers.

The workshop will explore IP exploitation, innovative business models, legal frameworks, and best practices, with a particular focus on major Asian markets, including China, South Korea, and Japan.

Participants will collaboratively develop actionable strategies to address the unique challenges faced by European animation independents (EAIE) in exploiting their IPRs in EU and non-EU countries.

Animation producers, studio heads, and IP specialists with demonstrated IP management experience or clear business development goals centered on IP strategy and expansion, are invited to apply. Upon arrival the participants will be assigned to focused working groups for facilitated discussions, culminating in concrete conclusions and ideas.

All travel, accommodation, and facilitation costs are fully covered. Arrivals planned on the morning of 29 April and departures late afternoon on 30 April.
