Film Center Serbia Supports CEE Animation Workshop Alumni
The first edition of the CEE Animation Workshop 2018/2019 welcomed four feature length projects in development. We are very happy to inform you that the project Twice Upon a Time by Vojin Vasovic received a financial support from the Film Center Serbia.
The project was also pitched within the CEE Animation Forum 2019 and received ANOMALIA Scholarship Award.

Amount of the support: RSD 30 million (250.000 EUR)
The project was already supported by Creative Europe MEDIA (EUR 60,000), Film Centre of Serbia development (EUR 20,000), Proof of concept (Canada Council, Toronto Art Council, Ontario Art Council – EUR 60,000).
The selection committee explains: “The family film with focus on children, but also on their parents and wider audience, made in 3D animation technique. The film follows the story of nine-year-old princess Nika, who wants to help her father King Poet in his fight against King Warrior. The film brings the message that we don’t need to believe in fairytales but in our sincerity and personal decisions.”
