CEE Animation Workshop 2024: Last Module in Progress

The 6th edition of the CEE Animation Workshop is wrapping up with its 4th module being held online from October 21 to 25, 2024. During the first two days, the participants had 1:1 meetings with the industry decision-makers, while the remainder of the week will be dedicated to collaborative group work, practical sessions, and expert lectures. Over the course of this year-long training, 12 projects have been developed, fully prepared to launch into the market and make their mark in the world of animation.

The sixth generation of the CEE Animation Workshop brought together 28 international animation professionals, who embarked on a year-long training program, developing projects from the early stages to the final developed production package and pitch. An exciting programme hosted internationally renowned professionals, who have shared their skills and insights, and offered opportunities for networking and creating new connections that will last far beyond the duration of the training. Established producers Tonje Skar Reiersen (Mikrofilm, Norway) and Corinne Destombes (Folimage, France) joined the training as main group leaders and Phil Parker (United Kingdom) and Rita Domonyi (Hungary) worked as group leaders – script consultors.

‘The sixth edition of the CEE Animation Workshop showed us yet again that we have talented and driven animation creators in Europe, willing to work on improving their skills and being ready to discuss their own projects as well as genuinely contributing with ideas for the works of their colleagues. This is the attitude that helps to grow the animation industry here. We are happy with the progress all of them made and we are keeping fingers crossed to see these inspiring works soon reach the international screens,’ concluded Saša Bach, the Managing Director.
