CEE Animated Films for Annecy Festival 2025
The Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2025 again features a strong presence of Central and Eastern European titles to its official selection. Among this year’s exciting highlights is the inclusion of 9 Million Colours in the Festival Opening programme – originally pitched at the CEE Animation Forum 2022.
Adding to the celebration, Annecy pays tribute to Hungarian animation as its 2025 country of honour. Through nine curated programmes, audiences will explore the richness and evolution of Hungarian animation—from iconic commercial and award-winning films to student works from the renowned Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME).
Below is the list of CEE animated films and projects selected for Annecy 2025.
