Animation Lab Netherlands starts this week!
First edition of the Animation Lab Netherlands is starting soon in Amsterdam! We are welcoming Dutch film industry professionals, who wish to gain knowledge and insight about the production of animated films.
From 11 – 13 April 2024 seven selected participants will join this tailor-made workshop. Animation Lab Netherlands aims to provide an in-depth insight into the animation industry and topics such as the development of animated projects, production and post-production, festival strategy, and distribution. The residential workshop is formatted to discover the animation industry specifics through masterclasses by leading experts, moderated and interactive group work sessions, as well as individual consultations. The experts who will be joining us are the two main tutors, producer Martin Vandas (MAUR Film, CZ), producer Jelena Popović (National Film Board of Canada), and producers Marleen Slot (Viking Films, NL) and Dries Phlypo (A Private View, BE). Part of the programme will also be taking place at the Kaboom animation Festival, especially with the masterclass by Tomm Moore (Cartoon Saloon, IE).
