We’re delighted to welcome all participants selected for this year’s Official Selection of the CEE Animation Forum! This section is dedicated exclusively to the pitching teams and provides a clear overview of your upcoming duties, deadlines, and what to expect as you prepare for your pitch.
IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES
August 8 – Sign your participation agreement
Confirm your participation by reviewing and signing the official agreement.
August 31 – Complete your participation fee payment
Secure your attendance by paying the participation fee.
August 31 – Submit your updated project description
Make sure your project information is current by submitting the latest version of your description.
September 22–30 – Attend your one-to-one online consultations
Take part in a scheduled online meeting to receive feedback on your project.
October 22 – Submit your final presentation
Send in your presentation to be showcased at the CEEA Forum.
November 4–6 – Participate in the CEE Animation Forum 2025

VENUE
CEE Animation Forum 2025 will take place from November 4 to 6 in Moving Station (Koperníkova 56, 301 00 Pilsen, Czech Republic).
UPDATE OF YOUR PROJECT
It has been a few months since you filled out the application. We are sure that the project has moved on and that it might therefore be necessary to get new information from you. A description of your project can be found on our website.
Please check all parts (title, head visual, logline, synopsis, team, length, target audience, animation technique, budget, funding secured, stage). If you want to make any changes in your project description, please respect the length of each section. Please, fill in THIS FORM no later than August 31.
Your project is now published on our website and will remain in this format for pitching. Ensure that your content is polished and includes correct information, as these pages will play a crucial role in presenting your project to our audience.
GET READY FOR YOUR PITCH
Length of pitches:
- 5 minutes for Shorts and Student projects,
- 7 minutes for Series and Features,
- Q&A – 5 min. reserved for questions from the jury and the floor.
The presentation will be done without seats, with a microphone and will be conducted in English.
After the pitch, your team will sit down for a 10min. meeting with the 3 jury members who will give you immediate feedback on your presentation and the project. In the weeks before the Forum, we will provide you with a list of confirmed guests so that you can schedule meetings in advance.
Technical specifications for your pitch:
- presentation: 16:9 ratio, 1920x1080px resolution, PowerPoint or PDF,
- videos must be included into the presentation (format: .mp4 file, h.264 codec, 1920x1080px, stereo sound, 16:9 ratio) and not as a separate file,
- custom fonts must be included in the PowerPoint presentation – see the guide over here.
It will not be possible to run the presentation from your own computer.
TECHNICAL REHEARSAL
To avoid any technical problems, we will check that your presentation is up and running. However, you will still have an opportunity to try your presentation directly in the pitching hall. We will inform you about the time slots soon.
YOUR ATTENDANCE
CEE Animation Forum is organized only onsite (no online format). The programme will be held on November 4 and 6. We recommend planning your trip with arrival on November 4 (afternoon) and departure on November 7 (morning).
PARTICIPATION FEE
Upon selection of the project, fees apply as follows:
- category FEATURE FILMS and SERIES/ TV SPECIALS fee: 350 EUR per project
- category SHORT FILMS fee: 200 EUR per project
- category STUDENT SHORT FILMS fee: 80 EUR per project
The fee includes:
- 45 min. online consultation (September),
- prescheduled one-to-one feedback meeting with jury members,
- 2 accreditations for CEE Animation Forum 2025,
- possibility to submit other project(s) from your company to the online Market (September),
- refreshments onsite.
Costs of travel and accommodation are paid by the participants. On our website you will find helpful instructions for your travel.
