Panel discussion: Gender Equality in Animation
Recognising, reflecting on, and challenging the discriminatory structures that perpetuate and amplify discrimination and inequality in cultural and creative sectors are the prerequisites to achieving the necessary systemic change. In the panel discussion, Tina Smrekar, Matea Milić, Luce Grosjean and Maja Gehrig will shed light and reflect on various inequalities in the world of animation cinema, from education and production conditions in filmmaking, to distribution practices and givens.
The masterclass was held within Animateka International Animated Film Festival 2021.
